Tasks:

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide ongoing support, addressing customer needs and resolving concerns.

 

Project Follow-Up:

  • Engage with potential clients to follow up on pending projects and ensure smooth transitions from inquiry to order placement.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide tailored solutions to customer-specific needs.

 

New Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new customers across multiple industries.
  • Conduct market research to uncover emerging opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Effectively present products through sales presentations and demonstrations.

 

Distribution Network Management:

  • Develop and manage a European distribution network for specific industrial applications.
  • Identify and onboard distribution partners aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Provide ongoing management, training, and support to distribution partners to ensure successful sales performance.

 

Sales Execution:

  • Promote and sell surface-active agents to a variety of industrial clients, emphasizing their applications in areas like emulsion polymerisation, agriculture, dyeing, and leather processing.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets individually and as part of the team.

 

Reporting and Strategy:

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project statuses.
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.

 

Profile:

  • Proven experience in industrial sales, particularly in chemicals or specialty products.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial applications such as emulsion polymerisation, agriculture, dyeing, or leather processing is a plus.
  • Experience in setting up and managing distribution networks is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
