Join our dynamic Finance team and drive business excellence through financial insights and process optimization. You will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, optimizing business processes, and managing key projects that enhance our financial performance. As a Business Controller, you will provide strategic financial insights, collaborate with international teams, and help shape key business decisions.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead financial and business projects to optimize business processes and improve financial transparency.
  • Act as a sparring partner for business stakeholders (Operations, Sales, Senior Management), and align financial insights with business needs.
  • Conduct thorough analyses and play a key role in translating outcomes into strategic actions, ensuring knowledge sharing and the effective implementation of resulting initiatives.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive financial performance.
  • Conduct detailed margin analysis and collaborate with Sales and Purchasing to optimize pricing and profitability.
  • Provide financial support for strategic decisions, including scenario analysis and business cases.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (automation, data accuracy, and efficiency improvements).
  • Implement and develop a full production cost approach in collaboration with Operations and R&D.
  • Oversee inventory management, assess slow-moving stock, and drive optimization initiatives.
  • Define and enhance KPI’s related to stock risk, cost control, and working capital.

 

In this role, you will work closely with 3 Business Control colleagues to define and improve best practices and enhance processes.

 

Profile:

 

  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business controlling (preferably in a production environment).
  • Strong project management skills with experience in leading financial and business optimization projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in financial control tools and processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel: pivot tables, functions, data query) and ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a strong plus).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international business environment.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Hands-on mentality with a proactive and problem-solving approach, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
