We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Account Manager to oversee and develop our presence in the Construction and Textile/Carpets markets within the UK. This role primarily focuses on maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships, while ensuring that new opportunities are not overlooked.

Customer relationship management:

  • Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing clients in the Construction & Textile/Carpets sectors.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure continued satisfaction and long-term collaboration with (key) accounts.

 

Market development:

  • Identify and capitalize on potential growth opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Ensure that no business opportunities are lost.
  • Explore additional opportunities in time, for the additional polymers, produced within EOC Belgium, and with applications such as coating, adhesives, etc.

 

Industry expertise:

  • Develop a strong understanding of customer requirements and translate these into technical and commercial solutions.
  • Gain industry credibility by staying updated on trends and challenges within the Construction & Textile/Carpets markets.

 

In this role, you will collaborate with technical and sales teams to enhance market positioning

Profile: 

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in Construction, Textiles, Coatings or Adhesives industries. 
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a track record of managing key accounts. 
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to construction and textile applications. 
  • Commercially driven with a strategic mindset to identify and maximize opportunities. 
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are plus. 
  • Willingness to travel frequently in the UK. Europe on a need-to basis.
