Then we are looking for you to join our team at EOC Group as an Account Manager!

What is your role?

As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and managing customer relationships. You will work in a department that produces binders and film-forming water-based products for applications in paints, adhesives, sealants, and the construction industry.

Customer relationship Management:

  • Independently manage your customer portfolio in the Netherlands, Germany, and Scandinavia.
  • Advise customers on the right product to support their projects and drive sales in your region.
  • Visit distributors / trade fairs and maintain regular contact with customers.
  • Conduct prospecting to expand your customer portfolio.
  • You are the point of contact for customers, which means that 50% of your working time will involve travel.

 

 Responsible for the Sales Process:

  • Negotiate prices, make sales agreements, and define delivery terms.
  • Follow up on payments and outstanding invoices and take appropriate action.
  • Monitor credit limits.
  • Follow up on sales through Sales Administration.

 

Helping customers find solutions:

  • Be the first point of contact for technical issues.
  • Provide advice and assistance in collaboration with the Technical Service Specialist and EOC’s R&D Division.

 

Innovation and market development:

  • Investigate new markets and product opportunities based on customer needs.
  • Collaborate with R&D to initiate and promote product developments.
  • Keep a close eye on competition and market positioning.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Is fluent in Dutch, English, and German (both spoken and written).
  • Has a strong commercial mindset and enjoys working independently.
  • Is flexible, social, and has a high degree of interpersonal sensitivity.
  • Is willing to travel frequently to the Netherlands, Germany, and Scandinavia.
  • Has experience in an assertive commercial environment.
  • Motivational fit is just as important to us as experience.
